When the Amrhein cousins came to visit, it was always a big deal.  Here we all gathered on the front steps at Grandma and Grandpa's on Campau Blvd in South Bend in 1951.  Obviously the proud grandparents, Helen and Ted Turnock are in the middle of it all.  As for the grand children, let's  start at the top of the steps.  In that top row are four children of Helen "Sis" Turnock Amrhein, Kathy, Mary June, and Nick on Terry's lap, with Helen McCauslin between Kathy and Mary June. Between Helen and Ted are Mary Anne McCauslin and Jeff Turnock, son of Bud and Dorothy Vincent Turnock, and on Grandpa Ted's lap, Mike Turnock, and on Grandma Helen's lap his brother Tommy.
